Pose with street art at Haji Lane
Add an eye-popping splash of colour to your photos by posing against the vibrant wall murals of Haji Lane. The striking artwork dressing the façades give this little neighbourhood plenty of character and a creative vibe. Away from the tall buildings of the city, its alleys are relatively peaceful and less crowded in the day, making it easier for you and your partner to get that couple shot together. You may spot a beautiful closeup of a genie against an Arabian cityscape and Aztec-style characters painted along the wall outside Piedra Negra restaurant. Tired of wandering around under the hot sun? Take breaks in between snapshots by chilling together in one of the many quaint shophouses, hipster cafés and bars.

Enjoy the great outdoors at Champions Way
Looking for a wide, open space to take some uncluttered jump shots or silhouette shots? Located just across the Singapore Sports School in Woodlands, the large grassy stretch at Champions Way is just the right place. It reminds one of the signature green hills of Teletubbyland, with a winding tarmac path similar to the Yellow Brick Road in The Wizard of Oz – great for couples wanting to reminisce about those childhood fantasies of adventure. Imagine serene, picturesque moments captured in photos of just the two of you, with sprawling fields and a bright blue sky as a backdrop.

In the evenings, catch the colourful sunset reflecting off the water and casting intriguing shadows over the many sailboats docked there. For that flawless romantic photo, get a shot with the landmark lighthouse during sunset in the background. Appreciate traditional architecture at Chinese Garden
For glimpses of imperial Chinese architecture surrounded by Mother Nature, the Chinese Garden is the place to go. Have a scenic stroll with your partner across the gardens and courtyards, as you cross little arched bridges and admire neatly pruned bonsais, stone statues of zodiac animals and beautiful pagodas. No visit there is complete without that couple shot in front of the iconic seven-storey pagoda, from the top of which you can also get splendid overhead views of the surrounding Jurong area.
